Participants will be mainly using the standard Iphone camera app, but we will also be looking at other photography Iphone apps.

Free Beginner Photography Walk (Part of Lost Stories of Ruskin Park Project)

Understanding how to take photos with your camera can sometimes be confusing, with digital camera equipment now including a whole host of varying functions.
This photography walk will take you on a series of exercises to get to know these functions, with the assistance of a professional photographer and help get you on the gateway to taking better photography.

Embrace hopes you all have enjoyed your Christmas holidays and you are ready for what Embrace has in store for you in 2012.
As you may already know, Embrace has a few walks and workshops already scheduled this year and we plan on running a lot more, including loads of free events.
Also to show our appreciation, we are also pleased to announce that Embrace will be introducing a new photography loyalty stamp card for those who attend our photography workshops/walks.

Collect a total of 5 stamps and redeem your loyalty card to receive a £25 gift voucher to be used towards payment for another photography workshop available online at our Embrace Workshop website.
Each photography workshop/walk that you attend, you will receive one stamp at the end of the session.
You can get an Embrace loyalty card and your first stamp on attending your first workshop of 2012, but remember stamps will not be issued for workshops that are free or part of a promotional offer.

This photography walk is suitable for both compact and DSLR digital cameras.
Digital camera equipment now come with a whole host of varying functions. Getting to know these will be your gateway to taking better photographs.
Two professional photographers with an expansive knowledge of cameras will assist you to get to understand these and will take you through a series exercises, in a simple and effective way.

Free How to use Lightroom photo editing software (fully booked up)
1pm to 4:30pm Saturday 11th February 2012 Brixton, London
This is a free workshop but we are asking for people wishing to attend to pay a £10 returnable (if you attend) deposit.
Participants on this workshop will learn how to give your digital photos that extra edge using photo editing software and how to correct mistakes.
This workshop training session is limited to 6 people and will cover how to edit photos using Adobe Ligthroom software.

Photography of Fungi in Lesnes Abbey Wood Bexley London
£30 – Fungi and Photography Walk in Abbey Wood
11:30am to 3:30pm Saturday 3rd November 2012
This photography walk / fungi foray will be set in the beautiful Lenses Abbey Wood nature reserve.
The walk will involve how to get the best out of your digital camera while also learning more about the amazing fungi present and this wonderful nature reserve in Bexley, South London.
A knowledgeable fungi guide will tell you more about the different types of fungi / mushrooms / toadstools present in the woods and give you tips on how to identify different species.
A professional photographer with an expansive knowledge of cameras will assist you to get to understand how to get the best from your camera & will take you through a series of exercises, in a simple effective way.
Our photography tutor will give tips on how to take photos of the fungi found on the walk to enable you to record them in all their glory.
